My vision for my photos for light and shadow were to capture how the sun illuminates things in nature. As well as capturing some bookish looking photos, while playing with the lights and darks of the sun.
Portrait Photography:
My theme for my portrait photos were to capture very earthy portrait photos. While still staying true to focusing on my models. I also tried to brighter up my photos using lightroom so that the focus stays on the models.
Landscape and Macro Photography:
My theme for my landscape and macro photos were centered around nature. I was trying to use some more cool tones since a lot of my other photos have warmer tones.
Tricking the Eye:
For my process of taking these photos I learned how to cut glass which I did to make my glass shards. With these glass shards I used photoshop to edit different images into the shape of the shards to trick the eye. For one of the shots I went out to a corn field and got a couple pictures there. As well as going to the dam and getting some great shots there as well. Overall I used photoshop and lightroom to both combine the pictures and make them more vibrant. I also used those two sites to help bring my vision to life.
Narrative:
Social Justice:
My theme for Social Justice was misogyny and how it makes women feel to hear those things. So I looked up some phrases and put others that I've heard people use before and edited them. I pledge to attempt to shut down any misogynistic comments if I hear them through out the day. To help create an altogether better environment for women.
